Sweet Innocence

I LOVE how my kiddos love each other.

Courtney told me tonight that she wants to marry Garrett. She was so sweet and serious. I explained to her that they are already family so they don't need to be married.

She replied, "Well, you already married Daddy, so I can't marry him. That's not fair. So, I'm going to marry Garrett."

Sigh.

Can I bottle this?

Random February Photo Catch-Up

We have been busy bees...but here's a few pics. I didn't have my camera for half of everything, but here's a little of what we've been up to...

Garrett and some Valentine happiness!

I love Wednesdays....our pajama day...

Tyeann and Jon Cole spent Valentine's weekend with us...the kids had a blast playing together!

Our sweet neighbor Mr. Bass fell and broke his hip a few months ago and finally got to come back home last weekend...a sign from the kids...we missed him!

Justin playing catcher in the Alumni game...I didn't get any of him at bat but he went 3 for 5 and had some great hits.

We had lots of fun with the Herdman's this weekend! Courtney and Ella played non-stop!

My sweet boys. :)

Garrett's favorite outfit....pj's & boots.

She gets it honestly

We do ALOT of board games and card games around here. Courtney loves them. She also loves to win and hates to lose. Justin and I are both very competitive, so there's no question where that comes from.

From the very beginning of playing games with her we have made a rule that we don't let her win just because she is little. This really isn't an issue unless we are playing checkers....we all know that Candyland is luck of the draw.

On this day...I was Diego and she was Dora. She beat me fair and square two times in a row. Diego was left in the dust. He had no chance. I'm not sure I've ever seen this lopsided of a Candyland game. I think that she stacked the cards in her favor because she got the game ready. If she can figure that out at the ripe old age of five, then I guess she deserves to win. ;)

I know the blog entries have been few and far between. Life has been VERY busy, but should settle down by the end of the month.

One last thing...there seems to be a huge cancer epidemic going on with lots of people we know right now. If you could keep them all in your prayers we would truly appreciate it. They are:
Darcy Cassidy - 4yr old from Meridian with brain cancer
Kenneth Bubert - from McGregor, had surgery Friday at Baylor in Dallas
Ronda Pruitt - our cousin that has breast cancer
John Hartgraves - my uncle that has colon cancer
Susan Trotter - my mom's friend from work, she had breast cancer in 05 and now cancer is back in lots of places
Melissa - my friend Lorna's sister that has breast cancer
Devon Kinnear - a high school student at McGregor that has cancer
Zane Foster - a high school student at McGregor...now in remission, pray he stays that way
Not cancer, but my Aunt Mary was in a bad wreck the day after Christmas and has a long recovery ahead.

All your prayers would truly be appreciated. XOXO

Does this look familiar?

I wonder where he gets this from? :)

This is his concentration face. I was so glad to capture these cute shots!
